Booking + Pricing

  • We do not typically offer last-minute discounts. Our homes book up quickly, especially on weekends, so we rarely have gaps to fill. That said, we do offer a 5% discount for week-long stays and a 15% discount for monthly stays.

  • Yes! Guests who book directly through our website save compared to Airbnb and VRBO pricing since you are not paying platform service fees. First time guests save 5-10%.

  • Yes. Most dates have a 2-night minimum, and the exact minimum for your dates shows when you check availability.

  • We welcome stays up to 365 nights. Long stay guests are some of our favorites.

  • We accept secure online payments through our booking system. Everything is processed safely at checkout.

  • Full refund at least 30 days before check-in minus a 4% processing fee. Between 29 and 7 days out, you receive a 50% refund minus a 4% processing fee. Less than 7 days is non-refundable.

Check-In + Check-Out

  • Check-in is at 11:00 AM.

  • Check-out is at 4:00 PM.

  • Yes, just ask. We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out when the schedule allows, so reach out and we will do our best.

  • Check-in is self-service with a keypad. We will send your door code and directions before you arrive, so you can head right in.

  • No need to coordinate a meet-up. Check-in is self-service with your keypad code, and we are only a text away if you need anything during your stay.

The Stay

  • Sunny Side Up sleeps up to 9 guests across its 4 bedrooms. Cozy Coop is designed for 2, a private retreat for couples.

    • Sunny Side Up is especially great for families, with its spacious backyard, multiple bedrooms, and baby gear available on request including a crib, stroller, and high chair. Just let us know what you need ahead of time.

    • Cozy Coop is set up as a couples retreat for two, so it is better suited to a romantic getaway than a family trip. Couples with children 2 and under find that they can combine a couple’s retreat with family time. Couples can put the baby to bed early and still enjoy time together at the fire pit or in the jacuzzi and nap time is not wasted sitting in a hotel. Enjoy the back porch or pool while you are waiting for you little one to get in a good nap.

  • Yes, everything is included. Fresh linens, bath towels, and beach towels are all ready for you when you arrive.

  • Yes. Cleanliness is something we take really seriously and it is consistently one of the top things guests mention in reviews. Both homes are thoroughly cleaned before every single stay.

    Before our professional cleaning team arrives, Cindy personally inspects each home for damage or items that need to be replaced. After cleaning is complete, she returns to make sure everything is spotless, welcoming and ready for the next guest.

  • Yes, both homes are stocked with a starter set of essentials, including toiletries, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and basic cleaning supplies. For longer stays, you may need to restock a few things along the way.

  • We do not offer daily housekeeping but for longer stays it can sometimes be arranged. Just reach out and we will see what we can do.

  • Just text or call. We are local, we are responsive, and we will take care of it as quickly as possible. That is one of the biggest benefits of booking direct! You have a real person to contact, not a customer service queue.

  • We try to keep it easy and just ask that you take your trash to the outside can, wash and put away any dishes, remove pillow cases from the beds that were used, leave used throw blankets on your bed and put towels in the laundry room.

  • Yes, both homes have both drip coffee and a Keurig. We also provide coffee and coffee fixings.

  • Harris Teeter, Target and Trader Joe’s are all within a mile of the house.

Outdoor Spaces

  • Cozy Coop has access to a shared pool and jacuzzi in the backyard.

  • Sunny Side Up has its own large fenced backyard that backs up to a wooded area, so it feels really private and peaceful. Cozy Coop has a private back porch and shade garden. The pool, jacuzzi and backyard oasis is shared with the other couples retreat in this single family home.

  • Yes, very! Mount Pleasant is known as one of the Charleston area's most beloved communities, with quiet neighborhoods, tree lined streets, and a relaxed coastal feel. Quail Hollow fits right in. It is a small half mile loop with one entrance and minimal traffic. The only cars passing through belong to neighbors. It is the kind of place where you feel settled the moment you arrive.

  • Yes. The pool sits behind a single family home that is divided into 2 separate couples retreats, Cozy Coop and Over Easy. Your hosts, Rob and Cindy live in Over Easy. Guests at Cozy Coop share the pool with Rob and Cindy but they generally spend more time cleaning the pool than swimming.

  • Yes, Cozy Coop guests will find additional floats for the pool on the side of the shed in the backyard.

Amenities + Features

  • Yes, both properties have high speed WiFi.

  • Yes, both properties have Smart TVs with streaming and YouTube TV so you don't miss those big games. Cozy Coop also has an outdoor TV on the back porch which is a guest favorite.

  • Sunny Side Up has a full washer and dryer in the home. Cozy Coop guests have access to a shared laundry area.

  • Yes! Both properties have a grill with propane included and a backup tank. Just let us know if you switch tanks so we can refill the backup for the next guests.

  • Yes. There is also a backup propane tank next to the grill. Please let your hosts know if you switch the tank so they can replace the empty for the next guest.

  • Yes, beach chairs and essentials are available at both properties.

  • Yes, each house has a Shibumi beach umbrella. 

  • Sunny Side Up has a fully stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook a full meal. Cozy Coop has a kitchenette with a combination microwave, air fryer, and convection oven, plus electric hot pads. Perfect for easy meals and morning coffee.

  • Both homes are well stocked but you will want to bring personal items, groceries, and anything specialty you like to have on hand. Think of it like arriving at a really well prepared friend's house.

  • Yes, there is a stack of firewood available at each of the two fire pits. If guests at either house need more fire wood you can help yourself to the stack of wood near the shed at the back of Cozy Coop.

Unique Features

  • Yes, please do! The hens love visitors. Stop by the coop anytime, help yourself to a few fresh eggs, and leave some for the next guests. Fresh eggs do not need to be refrigerated so just take what you need. It is one of those little things guests end up absolutely loving.

  • Not at all. The coop is tucked at the very back of a deep property and surrounded by evergreen bushes. If you are in the backyard you might occasionally hear a hen celebrating a fresh egg, but that is about it.

Rules + Policies

  • As much as we love pets, we do not allow guests to bring pets.

  • No smoking or vaping at either property please.

  • No large parties or events. That said if you have something special in mind just ask. A small gathering, a bridal party photo shoot, a little celebration... those kinds of things we are happy to talk through on a case-by-case basis.

  • Yes, quiet hours are from 10 PM to 8 AM.

  • Guests must be at least 25 years old to book.

  • Sure, just let Cindy know so she can tuck it away for you until you arrive. This is the kind of personal attention you get when you book direct.

Parking + Access

    • Yes. Sunny Side Up has driveway space for up to 4 vehicles.

    • Cozy Coop includes free tandem parking for up to 2 vehicles on the left side of the driveway, just steps from the door, and guests will need to pull onto the grass to do so, which is no problem at all.

  • Yes. You’ll receive a full address, along with your check-in instructions and keypad code, before you arrive.

  • No, overnight street parking is not allowed in Quail Hollow. If you have more cars than you can fit in your driveway spaces please reach out to Cindy. She may be able to help with a solution.

Location

  • Both properties are about 3 miles from Isle of Palms Beach. Sullivan's Island is about 10 minutes away as well.

  • About a 20-minute drive. Shem Creek is about 10 minutes.

  • So many. Mount Pleasant has great dining, shopping, and nightlife, and Charleston is just down the road. Check out our Area Guide for Cindy's personal recommendations.

Booking Direct

  • Yes, completely. Payments are processed securely through our booking system, so your information is protected at checkout. Both homes are also listed on Airbnb and VRBO with years of hosting and a track record of 5-star reviews, so you can book with us directly with total confidence.

  • A few good reasons.

    • You save on platform fees, you get a direct line to us by text or phone and the whole experience is more personal.

    • We consider you a guest and when you book direct we can easily work with you to provide personal touches that make your stay with us easy and memorable.

      • You want a private couples dinner in the backyard, a traditional lowcountry boil for your family or a breakfast in bed gift basket? We can coordinate these experiences easily and keep the cost down when you book direct.
