Description
Sunny Side Up is a freshly updated coastal beach house, featuring 4BR/2BA, perfectly located minutes from the areas best beaches, shopping, dining and nightlife. Only 3 miles to Isle Of Palms, 10 min. to Sullivan's Island, and 20 min. to Charleston. Spend the day exploring the area and return home to your private screened-in porch overlooking a spacious backyard with hammock, fire pit and chicken coop. The open floor plan is perfect for girls trips and families.
Space
This Salt and Palm Retreats beach house boasts a bright open living area with views from the well-stocked kitchen through the house to the backyard for easy entertaining.
The screened in porch has plenty of space for family gatherings, and offers the charm of southern living with a porch swing for napping in the cool breeze.
Grill on the back deck, relax in the backyard hammock or grab a blanket and warm your toes by the fire pit in the winter.

Large master bedroom with a queen bed and its own bathroom and jacuzzi tub
2nd bedroom is cozy with a queen bed
3rd bedroom has two twin beds and a queen Murphy bed. This room also has its own heat/air window unit so guests can control their own temperature
4th bedroom with a twin day bed and desk for working is perfect for the night owl or early riser of the group as it opens to both the family room and the screened in porch

Quail Hollow is a small, quiet, family-friendly neighborhood just around the corner from everything.

There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway.
Access
You will get check-in instructions 24 hours in advance with address and key code instructions. The code to the lockbox will be the last 4 digits of your phone number.

As your host at Salt and Palm Retreats, we are always here to help and are happy to offer suggestions about the area. We live next door so we are able to respond quickly if you have any issues.
We are always happy to engage in conversation and help with anything you need but we also realize some guests are here for a quiet getaway. Whatever your preference works for us and we are happy to follow your lead.

Free WIFI and streaming on smart TV’s in living area and master bedroom. Free YouTube TV in family room.

No parties. Small family gatherings are fine. We often have guests in town to visit with family.
Please respect our wonderful neighbors by observing quiet hours between 10 PM and 8 AM.
Parking allowed in driveway for up to 4 vehicles. No overnight street parking.
3rd bedroom has two twin beds and a queen murphy bed. Sheets for the Murphy bed are in the bottom drawer. This room also has it's own independent heating and cooling system, allowing you to set the temperature to your preference.
A propane tank has been provided for the grill. I have also left a backup tank. Please let me know if you switch to the backup so I can fill the empty tank for future guests.
During your stay, owners of Salt and Palm Retreats may access garage for lawn equipment or maintenance tools. Garage access is through outside keypad so this will not disturb your stay.
Chickens
Our little flock lives in the Hen House tucked away at the back of the property. You'll have to go on a mini hen hunt to find them hidden behind a big bank of shrubs. Keep your ears open and you might hear the ladies proudly announcing they've laid an egg or clucking when someone stops by to say hello. Other than that, they are quiet neighbors who happily keep to themselves. If you are lucky, your visit might include a fresh egg surprise! Fresh eggs do not need to be refrigerated, so please take what you need and leave the rest for other guests to enjoy.
Children
We’re happy to accommodate families traveling with little ones. A crib, stroller, and high chair are available upon request.

No pets allowed.
No parties or events. Please observe quiet hours between 10pm-8am.
No smoking or vaping at the property.
Cancellation Policy
Guests can cancel for a full refund 30 days before arrival. Cancellations 29-8 days before check-in are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are not eligible for refund. All refunds are subject to a 5% payment processing fee.

The swing daybed alone is worth the trip. Shaded, breezy, and perfectly set up for napping, reading, or just sitting with a drink and doing nothing at all. It's the most talked about spot in the house.

The Perfect Backyard
Large, peaceful, and tucked against a wooded area, the backyard has a hammock, fire pit, and an outdoor dining table that seats 6 with room for more. It's quiet back there in a way that surprises people given how close you are to everything.

Minutes to Charleston
You're close to everything without being in the middle of it. Historic downtown Charleston is about 20 minutes away, with its rooftop dining, shopping, live music, and waterfront views. Spend the day out and about, then come home to the quiet.

Location Without the Noise
Quail Hollow is a quiet half mile loop of homes with one entrance, so the only cars passing by belong to neighbors. It feels tucked away but you're minutes from the beach, Shem Creek, and downtown Charleston.

The Hen House
At the very back of the property sits the chicken coop. Stop by and help yourself to a few fresh eggs! They don't need refrigerating so just take what you need and leave the rest for the next guests. It sounds like a small thing. Guests absolutely love it.
