Who We Are
Owning a place at the beach was a dream of mine for a long time. I spent years teaching in Chicago and raising three kids before we made our way down to Charleston.
The best part? All three of my kids eventually followed us here. Having my family close again, in a place this beautiful, makes every day feel like a gift.
We’ve poured a lot of love into these homes, and a good bit of that is Rob. With a degree in architecture and a lifetime in construction, building additions, decks and full renovations, he has turned these homes into something special. He loves it when his kids and family come to visit throughout the year.
Between the two of us, we keep everything running smoothly. Opening these homes to guests has been one of the most rewarding things we've done. We love looking after people and sharing this corner of the Lowcountry we get to call home.
Why We Host
We want every guest to feel welcomed, relaxed, and taken care of. That's it. That's the whole goal.
You'll find clean, well stocked homes with little touches that actually make a difference. Fresh eggs from the hen house out back. A porch swing that gets more use than the TV. A host who actually responds when you reach out.
We're not a big rental company. We're neighbors who love this place and want you to love it too.
The Experience
Both homes are designed around the idea that the best part of a trip isn't always what's on the itinerary.
Sometimes it's the morning coffee on a screened porch, the late night fire pit conversation, or the unexpected delight of gathering fresh eggs for breakfast.
Two Homes to Choose From
Two homes, two different vibes. Sunny Side Up is a 4 bedroom coastal home built for families, bachelorette parties, and girls' trips. Cozy Coop is a private 1 bedroom suite with a pool, perfect for couples.
Both are listed on Airbnb and Vrbo, where we've been hosting for over five years with consistently strong reviews. Guests who book directly with us save on fees and get a real line to their host. Pick the one that fits your trip.
Cozy Coop
You have your own private world. A shaded garden porch, pool and jacuzzi access, and a tucked away feel that makes a complete vacation without ever leaving the property.
Sunny Side Up
You'll find a spacious backyard made for slowing down. Hammock, fire pit, screened porch with a daybed swing, and a deep peaceful yard that guests never want to leave.
